Physical healing, mental health and wellness, emotional well-being, and spiritual beliefs and values are all given consideration.

Yoga Therapy views individuals holistically. Whilst the practice of Yoga in general aims to cultivate the body and mind and hence has the potential for therapeutic effects, Yoga Therapy is the application of yoga practices and their known benefits, to alleviate or improve mental and physical ailments and encourage self-care and overall well-being
The Yoga practices used in Yoga Therapy may include gentle physical exercises (asana), breathing practices, meditation, deep relaxation, mindfulness, applied yoga philosophy , and promotion of life style and behavioral changes to help create a state of whole health and wellbeing
