Hello! My name is Marcella Fulco

I am a medical doctor, a former scientist, Yoga teacher and Yoga Therapist. I am also a life long Yoga student.

I came to Yoga after many years  of working as a molecular biologist.

I lived in the United States for 15 years. For the first 10 years I worked as a staff scientist at  the National Institutes of Health (NIH), in Bethesda, MD.

I spent the last five years of my USA stay  in San Diego, California, where I fell in love with Yoga and decided to invest all my energies in studying and practicing this incredible discipline.

Even though people believe that moving from science  to Yoga must have been a big change for me, I do not feel that way. I have discovered that the ancient yogis were scientists on their own, and their bodies were their unique laboratories.

Like them, I have performed my own experiments on my body and I have gained  many insights, that I am really excited to share.

I decided to specialize in Yoga therapy, because I felt it  would be  the field of Yoga where I could give a unique  contribution,   having  already  a medical background.

I feel very fortunate that I was given in one life time the chance to study the human being, from the molecular and cellular levels   to his  physiology and pathology,  up to his  unseen  realms of beings (what the yogis call subtle and casual bodies).

I am now completely dedicated to sharing  with others the many tools of Yoga that have been helping me in my personal evolution  journey  over the last few  years and that I am confident will help you in your journey toward physical, emotional and spiritual  wellbeing.

Being a student and scientist at heart, I am constantly upgrading my Yoga knowledge, while keeping an eye at the latest neuroscience discoveries, that often give us a scientific understanding of why  Yoga is so effective.
